Most afternoons, Miss Ralphie (gray) and Elsie can be found on my bed. This is the only place in my apartment that gets the sun. Someone told me I should get cat beds from the pet store for them. Why?

About 10:30 every evening Ralphie lets me know it is time to have the bedcovers pulled down so she can go to bed for the night. Elsie often joins her. By morning, they have moved around and almost crowd me out of my bed. I don't have the heart to make them get off.

Elsie gets up on the table next to my computer when I'm working, plopping herself on the mouse pad and purring for attention. She gets some, but it is impossible to work around her. I discovered recently that if I offered her some kitty treats she would get down on the floor and eat them. I have created a monster. Now she gets up on my table more often just begging for treats.

When I went away for two weeks in April, I forgot to put the computer chair under the table. When I got home, I discovered she had apparently slept here most of the time. My chair looked like a white Chia Pet, which took about 8 sheets of the sticky roller hair remover to get rid of.

Elsie likes to stare into paper bags and boxes. She may be receiving messages from the Great Cat.
I have seen videos of cats on YouTube who played the piano and I wondered if my two had any musical ability. Now we know.
